Do not register for the Placement Exams in Campus Connect: these are not for SNL students. Follow the instructions for registering for each exam. Students may only register once for each exam. Each exam requires payment of a non-refundable fee. If you need to cancel or register for an alternative date, you must do so at least 48 hours prior to the exam without being responsible for the fee. Students must pass an exam in the first attempt in order to receive credit. Failing a proficiency exam requires completion of an SNL course to satisfy the competence. Failure to submit the exam on time also means you have to take the course.

Please register for an exam at least 2 quarters before you plan to graduate, so that arrangements to take a class can be made, should you not pass the exams.
