The School for New Learning (SNL) was established in 1972 as one of the nine colleges and schools of DePaul University. We offer classes at various DePaul campuses in and around Chicago and online.

SNL is recognized internationally as a leader in the field of education to adults and offers five academic programs.

The School for New Learning provides a distinctive approach to learning for adults. You'll design your own customized program that builds upon the abilities and experience you already possess. This program allows you to add new knowledge and develop innovative skills to help you achieve your personalized career goals. Younger students with chronic illnesses can also pursue a degree with us in the Inside Track program.
