Graduate Scholarships and Financial Aid

Limited financial aid is available for eligible graduate students. If you are focusing on Parenting Education and Support (PES), apply also for Spenser Fund support.

For consideration, please follow these steps:

(1) Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Assistance) at http://fafsa.ed.gov   See also http://www.depaul.edu/admission/FinancialAid/

(2) Please email snlgrad@depaul.edu with your name, DePaul ID#, Award Request as the Subject, and the quarter for which the award will be applied if granted.

(3) Award Requests are considered within the following windows:

- for a Fall Quarter Award, send email between June 1 and August 1.

- for a Winter Quarter Award, send email between October 1 and December 1.

- for a Spring Quarter Award, send email between January 1 and March 7.

Stipulations: Awards must be applied to current tuition within the quarter of the award—provided the student is registered for at least 4 graduate credit hours. Otherwise, the award is forfeited. Awards do not renew or continue into subsequent quarters. For consideration in subsequent quarters, new Award Requests need to be submitted.

Considerations: Awards are granted on the basis of available scholarship funds per quarter. Upon review of the FAFSA on file and the Award Request, preference is given to those who, by the submission deadline—(a) are fully admitted to a SNL Graduate Program; (b) have successfully completed at least three SNL graduate credit hours; and, (c) have no D, F, FX or IN grades on their record and no more than one R grade. Preference is also given on the basis of academic performance to date as measured by the GPA. If all factors are equal, preference is also given to those who have not received awards in the past.
