Welcome to SNL and the Chronic Illness Initiative (CII). We're proud to be able to offer this unique program to those of you who want an education and are also struggling to manage a chronic illness. We are glad you are considering us and hope that we can provide you with what you need.
SNL is a welcoming environment. The program is student-centered. Our students are supportive of one another. Faculty and staff are caring and involved. We offer
several campuses around Chicago, and an
online program serves those who cannot easily get to a campus.
The CII adds an extra dimension to this level of personal attention. We want you to succeed. We work closely with faculty and other staff to provide them with information about the CII and about the needs of students with chronic illnesses. They want you to succeed too.
Every CII student is different, but all of them share similar experiences, so we hope you will find a community of peers here as well. The CII enrollment is increasing rapidly so you will find more students in your situation.
Privacy is something we take seriously. You can share as much or as little of your life as you wish. CII records are kept separately from other SNL records and are used only by CII staff unless a student gives us permission to share information further.
We are always interested in your ideas and concerns and continually strive to make the CII more helpful to you. So please let us
hear your thoughts and comments. We wish you all the best and stand ready to help you when you need us.
