Advanced Project satisfies F-11 and F-12 and carries 4 tuition credit hours. It is an independent course you work on directly with your faculty mentor and professional advisor. You must successfully complete LL 300 Research Seminar to register for AP. How to Register for LL 250 Foundations of Adult Learning
Foundations satisfies L-2, L-3 and F-1 and carries 6 tuition credit hours. You must successfully complete LL 102 Learning Assessment Seminar and be subsequently admitted to baccalaureate degree status to register. This status is granted after an interview with an SNL advisor. To register, find the relevant 5-digit number for L-2 and L-3 in the registration instructions for the quarter, and use Campus Connect to register. The instructor for Foundations will become your Faculty Mentor.
How to Register for LL 300 Research Seminar
Research Seminar satisfies L-8 and L-9 and carries 6 tuition credit hours. You must successfully complete LL 250 Foundations of Adult Learning, and L4 and L5 competences to register for Research Seminar. To register, find the relevant 5-digit number for LRS (which represents the L-8 and L-9 competences) in the registration instructions for the quarter, and use Campus Connect to register.
How to Register for LL 302 Externship
Externship satisfies L-10 and L-11 and carries 4 tuition credit hours. Externship is offered in two different modes: as a service learning course or as a course completed individually with your faculty mentor. You must successfully complete LL 300 Research Seminar to register. To register for Externship as a course taken with your mentor, download, complete and submit a paper registration form listing LL 302, your student information and your faculty mentor name. To register for Externship as a service learning course, find the relevant 5-digit number for LEX (which represents the L-10 and L-11 competences) in the registration instructions for the quarter, and use Campus Connect to register.
How to Register for LL 390 Summit Seminar
Summit satisfies L-12 and carries 2 tuition credit hours. For students who began SNL prior to Fall 2000, it satisfies LL-12 and carries 4 tuition credit hours. The credit hour differential supports advising. Summit is the last requirement completed in the undergraduate program and is offered in two different modes: on-campus and on-line. You must Apply for Degree Conferral in Campus Connect, and successfully register for LL 302 Externship and FA 303 Advanced Project to register for Summit. How to Register for December Intersession Courses
Courses offered in the December Intersession meet as follows: Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays or Saturdays. When searching for a December Intersession course on Campus Connect, please choose the Winter term, not the December Intersession. The search results will specify “DEC SESSN” when a course is being offered in the December Intersession term.
