Community Conversations The Center regularly convenes Community Conversations for those interested in the education of adults. We gather to discuss topics and explore questions for collaborative inquiry. Insights and questions that emerge help guide program and conference planning.    Research
The Center supports research on the effective and imaginative strategies for working with adult learners in a wide range of settings. Results are disseminated through programs and publications. Research projects are future-focused in areas relating to influencing practice in higher education, work-place settings and community organizations, particularly in the ways adults learn, develop the capacity to think globally, engage with their communities and use technology to advance learning. Partner institutions include University of Virginia.

Inquiry Practice Forums
The CAEA regularly hosts forums to provide an opportunity for adult learning researchers and practitioners from a wide range of settings to share their findings and best practices with a diverse audience. If you are interested in presenting your work at an upcoming forum, contact caea@depaul.edu. Check back soon for details on the next session.
